pdf copy of the pattern of the Shawl and Throw from Variations on a Theme of Orkney Lace by Elizabeth Lovick
This variation can be made using almost any yarn. In a 4 ply/fingering or below it makes a lovely shawl; in thicker yarns it makes a cosy throw. The finished size will depend on the thickness of the yarn and the size of the needles.
Materials for a Shawl - All weights are approximate
