The shawl is worked from the centre out. It uses both nupps and gathered stitches, the two techniques often found in Estonian lace shawls.

MATERIALS
100g/400m lace weight yarn
I used KnitsPicks Alpaca Cloud (lace weight); 100% baby alpaca; 400m/440yds per 50g hank; 2 x 50g hanks
4mm (US 6) circular needle
one 5mm needle for casting off
4 stitch markers
SIZE
95cm square after blocking
TENSION
15 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stitch pattern using 4mm needles.
