Knit it as a gradation of shades, or all in one zingy colour.
Materials
8 (9, 10, 12, 15, 18) 50 g skeins Jamieson's Natural Collection Shetland Heather for the single colour jacket; exact numbers and colours for shaded jacket in the pattern
pair 4.5 mm (US 7) needles
cable needle
three 31 mm (1.5 inch) buttons
Sizes
To fit bust: 30 [34, 38, 44, 48, 52] ins
Finished Bust: 34 [38.5, 43, 47.5, 52, 56] ins
Finished Length: 21.5 [22, 23, 24, 25, 26.5] ins
Tension
18 sts and 26 rows to 10 cm (4 ins) over reverse stocking stitch. Adjust needle size to get the correct tension.
The pattern will work for other aran weight yarns but you MUST swatch first!
