Bright enough to cheer up any winter’s day. The shawl collar hugs the neck, and the cuffs can be turned back to allow for growth. Use the left overs to make a matching hat.


Materials
Sweater: 200 (300, 400, 500) g Frangipani yarn
pair 3 mm and 3.5 mm (US 3 and 4) needles
row counter

Hat: 35 (45, 55) g Frangipani yarn plus
25 g for the pom pom
pair 3.5 mm (US 4) needles

to fit ages 2-3 ( 4-6, 6-8, 8-10)
actual chest 24 (27.5, 31, 34.5) ins
length 12 (14, 16, 18) ins
sleeve length 8.5 (10, 12, 14) ins (length and sleeve easily adjustable)

Hat: to fit ages 2-3 (4-6, 6-10)

Tension
26 sts and 36 rows to 4 ins over the wave pattern on 3.5 mm needles after washing and blocking. Adjust your needle size to get the correct tension.
