The increases happen between the lace bands, making it straightforward to knit.
Things you need to know to make the collar:
Materials
35 (40, 45) g of ColourMart 4 ply cashmere, or other ‘lace weight’ yarn
pair 3.75 mm (US 5) needles
thin needle for picking up stitches
row counter
8 (9, 10) stitch markers for lilac collar
small stitch holder or pin
5 buttons, about 11 mm (½ ins)
Sizes
To fit small (medium, large) woman;
actual neck circumference 16 (18, 20) ins. The collar section is about 6 ins wide.
Tension
20 sts to 4 ins over the Cat’s Paw pattern.
