Materials
3 mm circ or double pointed needles
two 3 mm dpns or cable needles for i-cord
row counter (preferably the hanging kind)
stitch markers as required
very fine needle for picking up stitches
J&S 2 ply jumper weight in the following amounts:
3 x 25 g balls shade 1 white
15 g green
about 10 g of 10 other colours
Notes
The actual amounts of the colours are about 15 g of the green (79) and 10 g of the others. Total bag weight, including thick twisted cord handles was 160 g.
The pattern will work with other fingering yarns.
Size
30 ins round the top and 11 ins deep. The base is 9 ins long by 4 ins wide.
Tension
30 sts and 38 rows to 4 ins over stocking stitch. Adjust needle size to get the correct tension if the exact size is important to you.
