Materials
Two colour hat:
2 x 50 g balls DK yarn in different colours
5 mm and 6 mm (US 8 and 10) needles
row counter
Single colour hat:
100 g DK yarn
4 mm and 5 mm (US 6 and 8) needles

Note: the two colour sample is knitted with Flying Flock DK wool from The Woolshed (www.thewoolshed.co.uk) and the lime hat is knitted with ColourMart’s DK merino (www.colourmart.com)
Size
to fit most teen and adult heads. Two colour hat has a diameter of 13 ins and the single colour hat a diameter of 14 ins when placed flat.
Tension
Two colour hat: 1 repeat of 10 st pattern and 12 rows to 2.5 ins.
Single colour hat: 1 repeat of 10 sts pattern 10 rows to 1.5 ins.
Notes
The pattern will work for other ColourMart DK and heavy yarns, and DK yarns from other companies.
