Meet Ami and Jamie! Designed to be played with, their clothes come off and on easily. The hair is knitted on to the face, so cannot come loose, although extra hair can be added (as a pompom) to Ami. If they are made for a young child the face can be embroidered on, or if they are for an older child or adult, buttons or beads can be used.
Materials
For each doll:
50g/155 yds DK weight yarn
50g/90 yds DK eyelash yarn for hair (CC)
pair 3.5mm (US 4) needles
150g washable polyester stuffing
yarn or buttons for eyes and mouth
stitch markers
For Jamie's clothes:
40g/120 yds DK yarn
190g/285 yds aran weight yarn
pairs 4mm and 4.5mm (US 6 and 7) needles
For Ami's clothes
140g/420 yds DK yarn
pair 4mm (US 6) needles
2 dpns, 4mm (US 6) or thinner, for the skirt
2 buttons for the shoe strap, plus 2 for decoration
