Materials
Jamieson and Smith’s Heritage 100% Shetland wool, 25 g balls, in the amounts and colours shown below:
For the Single Layer Cap:
2 balls of Fluggy White
1 ball each of Peat, Indigo, Old Gold and Madder
2.5 mm and 3 mm (US 1 and 2) circular needles for the smaller size
3.25 mm and 3.5 mm (US 3 and 4) circular needles for the larger size
For the Double Layer Cap photographed:
3 balls of Fluggy White
2 balls each of Peat, Indigo, Old Gold and Madder
3 mm (US 2) circular needles for the smaller size
3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles for the larger size

Tension
28 sts and 30 rows to 4” over pattern on 3 mm needles
30 sts and 32 rows to 4” over pattern on 3 mm needles
Sizes
Two sizes to fit teen/small adult, and larger adult
