Simply Sweet Summer Skirt by Elizabeth Lovick
Equally happy on its own, or paired with the Simply Sweet Summer Cardi, this skirt can be made as long as you like. The pattern round the hem is an old one from Estonia.
The skirt is worked in the round from the bottom up and is shaped by decreases over the hips. The elastic waist makes it easy to slip on.

150 (175, 200, 225, 250, 300, 325, 350, 375)g/ 465 (545, 620, 700, 775, 930, 1010, 1035,1165) yds DK yarn
3.5 and 4 mm (US 4 and 6) circular needles
length of ½” elastic to fit the waist
5 stitch markers
Tension
24 sts and 30 rows to 4”/10 cm over stocking
