Notes
The photographed scarf was knitted with silk yarn hand spun by Janice Clark. The Cobweb pattern works for commercial cobweb yarns or ColourMart lace weight and heavy lace weight yarns, such as 2/28. The Lace Weight pattern works for commercial lace weight yarns or ColourMart 4 ply yarns, such as 2/14 or two strands of 2/28.
Tension
Cobweb yarn: 28 sts and 30 rows to 4 ins over pattern on 3.5 mm needles
Lace Weight Yarn: 22 sts and 24 rows to 4 ins over pattern on 4.5 mm needles
Note that it is difficult to be precise about tension as the garter stitch ground is stretchy!
