A modern garment making use of old Shetland lace patterns. The camisole can be worn without straps, with narrow i-cord straps or with wider, knitted straps as shown. I-cord can be slotted through the eyelets at bust and waist, as shown, or the fabric can be left loose. The camisole is knitted in one piece from the bottom up.

4 ply yarn in the quantities shown in the table below
Pairs 5, 4.5, 4, 3.25 and 3 mm (US 8, 7, 6, 3, 2.5) needles
Two 3.75 mm (US 5) dpns for i-cord
Five 15 mm buttons
4 stitch markers

I used Sheepjes Catona; 280 yds per 100g; 100% cotton; shade Chrystaline
TENSION
24 sts and 40 rows to 4” on size 3.25 mm needles over the rosebud pattern of the bodice after washing and blocking
